If you’re planning a trip, our cancel for any reason upgrade* may be a wise addition to your travel insurance policy. Available only on our Ultimate plan, it lets you cancel for any reason — whatever it may be — up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure date. This can help ensure you’re not left completely out of pocket, as we can reimburse you with 75% of your insured trip cost (up to $7,500).

Important: To be eligible for reimbursement with this optional upgrade, you’ll need to insure all your nonrefundable trip costs (up to a maximum of $10,000) with your policy at the time of purchase and at least 31 days before your departure date. Additionally, the upgrade must be purchased with your Ultimate plan within 21 days of your initial payment for your trip. Subsequent arrangements must be insured within 14 days of booking those arrangements.
